All these images are taken with a Nikon D70.
ISO is generally at 200, lens for nature shots is a Nikon 70-300 mm without image stabilization...all my photos are shot hand held, usually wide open as I need all the speed i can get (i.e. 5.6) and usually at 300 mm to get close enough.

This is a beautiful shot. The colors the composition and the wolf are just fantastic! I might have photoshopped that small stick sticking out near his butt area but I'm just a nit picky guy. Great shot!

I would suggest that the whites in the foreground could be reduced in brightness & contrast by selective curves adjustment layer... Just a suggestion.
